The Very First Blog!

Hi All,
Welcome to my first post. Just to introduce myself, I'm Peter, I'm 56and a bit. (big bit), slightly overweight with slightly high BP and cholesterol. In fact fairly normal all round. I'm a Christian but not a fundamentalist (i.e I don't believe the world was made in 7 days and I don't believe we should appear quite as fixated with homosexuals as we sometimes do.) I love walking, particularly in Cumbria. I love lots of different sorts of music but particularly Eric Clapton playing the blues (NOT Tears in Heaven). I'm sort of socialist. Some of my friends would describe me as left wing but that can't be true 'cos I've still got a sense of humour. I'm a member of a Rotary Club!!! Yes we're not all 'disgusted of Tonbridge Wells' and retired Colonels! I'm married with two sons, one daughter in law and a grandson (above), a cat, and a wife that I still love and live with!
The reason I'm blogging however is really to do with work. I own a franchise and am being stitched up by the franchisor. For legal reasons I'm not going to tell you what the franchise is, so you'll have to try and guess. I decided I needed somewhere to vent my spleen, liver, bowels and anything else you can vent, when things got too stupid with work.
The franchise is based in a restricted area, selling a fairly specialised range of goods to a farly restricted customer base. The franchise was sold on the basis of a Pilot Scheme which has turned out to be a load of c**p. The area is not big enough to make money from and now the franchisees are coming under pressure to achieve minimum sales as per the contract. If we don't do the sales we are going to be charged for the difference. If we don't pay the difference we don't get supplied which means we won't make minimum sales and so on etc.
We may have a case for miss-selling the franchise, but are being threatened with legal action based on the contract if we think about legal action ourselves. What the hell do we do.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Legal suggestions particularly.
